Todd W. Carpenter
AssociateTodd Carpenter brings to Tilem & Campbell an extensive and varied professional background. Upon graduating from Syracuse University, Todd began his professional development as a civil engineer in California's Silicon Valley. During his two years as an engineer, he acquired extensive knowledge in various aspects of structural and land development engineering. He was able to further cultivate that knowledge during his years in southern California when he worked as a paralegal for a construction defect law firm in San Diego County.
Being a native of upstate New York, Todd eventually returned to his home state and obtained employment as a paralegal in a Westchester County firm specializing in labor and employment law. There, he gained practical knowledge in various areas relating to collective bargaining, discrimination, Article 78 proceedings, disability, disciplinary, and retirement matters. Shortly after his passage of the New York bar exam and eventual admission to the practice of law in New York State, Todd was hired as an associate at Tilem & Campbell, where he has since focused on traffic and speeding violations and handled various aspects of DWI cases at both the misdemeanor and felony levels. He also assists in the firm's extensive motion, brief and appeal practice.
